1934
It was in 1934,
that Edouard Ducret, master mover, decided to trace his own path and launch a relocation business.
Surrounded by a team of young movers, the brave and talented Edouard was able to develop his business. Unfortunately, he passed away five years later. His widow, Lea, motivated by the presence of their son Marcel, continued the adventure and pursued the growth of the company.
1951
In 1951,
Marcel himself lent a hand and together, they created another activity: the tipper trucks for construction sites.
1968
In 1968,
Lea worthily retired and passed on the torch to her son. The later continued to ensure the company’s smooth operation, keeping the customer at the center to ensure their satisfaction. That is how the Ducret house motto was created : « the customer first ».
1975
In 1975,
Marcel Ducret received the help of his son Alain Ducret and son-in-law Patrick Decroux. All three worked together to develop and modernize activities pertaining to removal and transport. All these years of experience, work and know-how enabled the company to affirm itself among Geneva’s leading movers.
2002
The year 2002
marked a turning point for the company. In order to enhance its growth, it left the neighborhood of Eaux-Vives to set shop at 105A, route des Jeunes in Carouge. It is at this very location that we offer our customers secure furniture storage facilities as well as a sorting platform.
2007
In 2007,
Marcel Ducret is pleased to welcome the fourth generation:
Christophe Decroux for the relocation part and Nicolas Ducret for the construction side. His grandsons, like the preceding generation, had the mission of perpetuating the house motto of 1968.
